Very cool Robot. What is his polygon count?

Thanks maaan.... Its not super low.  I wasn't really focusing too much on the poly count, I was mostly focused on exploring the texture work and the process of doing bakes from a high res to a lower res model.  Iits around 10k polys with everything but I didn't do any optimising  :(    haha

I like your texture work. Did you using a spec map? I ask because I can't see any highlights on the surface. On the other side I like this more comic stylised version more than a hyper realsitic texture :D

Ya, I have a spec map but I wanted to make it subtle...sometimes I feel like models/video-game-models have way too much spec, just because they can, because people like shiny stuff :)

:D I know, It's like a normal map. You have one you must normal all structures, because I can :D

I think your bot would be awesome if he has a real scene with gunfire and enemies.

I love the coherent stile and the recurring bent metal plates. Especially its little feet!

thanks, ya I was trying to keep the "bent" metal pieces throughout to help make it all cohesive.
